SSPCs replace traditional electromechanical relays and thermal circuit breakers in power distribution systems, offering more accurate trip protection with solid-state reliability, while reducing overall vehicle-level weight. PDC was the first to offer SSPCs for ground vehicles, UAVs, and non flight critical civil aerospace platforms.
