Civil Aerospace Power Supplies

Power Device Corporation (PDC) offers reliable, field-proven custom “fit and forget” solutions for In-Flight Enterainment and Communications platforms:

Line Replaceable Units (LRUs), integrated assemblies (embedded or stand-alone), and embedded power supplies.
Power ranges from 10 watts through to several kilowatts.
Inputs of 115VAC, fixed or variable frequency, 28VDC or dual 115VAC/28VDC.
Outputs designed to specific customer requirements.
Additional battery or capacitor backup capability can be built for extended holdup time beyond the nominal 200 milliseconds.
Environmental design capabilities provide full conformance to RTCA-DO-160 requirements, Airbus and Boeing specifications; including the latest wild frequency (360Hz - 800Hz) specification, and composite bodied aircraft requirements.
The convergence of direct broadcast satellite television, communications , and connectivity into the IFE arena, our extensive knowledge and capability in IF, RF, and Microwave signal processing has facilitated enhanced customer solutions in the civil aerospace market.
From DBS TV multiplexer units, gate-link applications and GSM cellular phone interfacing, we are carrying this capability forward to support the Wi-Fi, Wi-Max & 3G/LTE products of the future.

Defense Power Supplies

Airborne

Power Device Corporation (PDC) has over 30 years of experience designing power conversion products for airborne applications. Our products are in
service on many fighter aircraft platforms including Hawk Trainers, F16, Jaguar, Tornado and Eurofighter Typhoon. We also
provide solutions for the Nimrod MR2 and MR4 reconnaissance aircraft, Tiger Helicopter, and Watchkeeper Unmanned Aircraft.
In the civil aerospace sector we provide power converters for equipment on board commercial airliners and small business jets.

Maritime

PDC designs and manufactures power supply products for a wide variety of maritime applications, where robust, rugged
construction is required to offer high reliability and protection from some of the most demanding environmental conditions,
including salt fog, ice and total immersion. On board military surface vessels we provide power for data networking and
communications equipment thermal imagers and electronic warfare systems, including radar control and weapons guidance.

Ground

PDC has been providing state of the art power conversion solutions for military ground equipment for over 30 years. Our
products are in service with ground forces across the world, providing high reliability power for secure communications,
