DDC Releases Combo cPCI Synchro-to-Digital/Digital-to-Synchro Card
Off-the-Shelf Solution Sets Design in Motion

For Immediate Release: Bohemia, New York Oct. 24, 2006 — Data Device Corporation (DDC), a leading international supplier of high-reliability data interface products for military and commercial aerospace applications, announces the release of a 6U cPCI, combination Angle Position Indication (API) and Simulation (SIM) synchro card with accuracies up to 2 arc-minutes.

Designed for high-performance position feedback control, the SB-365XXTX-3XX contains three fully-independent synchro 90V, 60/400hz API channels and six fully-independent synchro 90V, 400hz SIM channels with transformer isolation. Its software-programmable API channels have 14- or 16-bit resolution and programmable bandwidth selections of 15/80Hz. A wrap test channel on each SIM channel provides diagnostics testing and avails unpopulated SIM channels for API input, making possible a total of nine API input channels where no SIM output channels are installed. The SB-365XXTX-3XX operates at temperatures from 0° to 55° C, in either 3.3V or 5V PCI bus systems, is available with conformal coating, and supports Linux and Windows XP drivers.
